ABOUT
The Hazard-Perry County Economic Development Alliance is a private, local economic development organization dedicated to job creation in Perry County. HPCEDA was started by leaders and businesses in the community who are making an investment in our mission to attract, develop, and expand a diversified business base throughout the county. HPCEDA is currently operating in partnership with One East KY to streamline regional efforts in the recruitment of new industry job creation and the retention of existing businesses.

Zach Lawrence

Prior to leading the Hazard office, Zach Lawrence, served as a Project Manager at the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development. As Project Manager, Lawrence traveled a 45-county territory spanning Eastern and Southern Kentucky working with new and expanding businesses to create jobs and on their workforce development needs. Before joining the Cabinet, Lawrence was an adjunct faculty member at Eastern Kentucky University teaching a course on career preparation and held multiple roles while there, including academic advising and admissions. Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts degree from EKU. Zach is originally from Harlan County, Kentucky.
